Night-time levels see Sonic transform into the Werehog gameplay slows down to accommodate greater platform play, and involves combat against waves of enemies using the Werehog's brute strength. Daytime stages incorporate Sonic's traditional platforming and speed, combining third-person and 2D side-scroller viewpoints. Gameplay features two distinct styles, with each being played either during daytime or night-time.
Sonic Unleashed, developed by Sonic Team and published by Sega, follows Sonic the Hedgehog as he attempts to restore the world to normal after his nemesis, Doctor Eggman, splits the world into pieces. As the sun sets, a new adventure awakens. Both day and night play different but important roles in Sonic's newest quest. Eggman has broken the world apart, and it's up to Sonic to put the pieces back together again by retrieving the power of the chaos emeralds! The Dynasty Warriors team could also take a crack at it and make a Last Airbender Warriors title, it could be a lot of fun. Maybe once Respawn is done with Star Wars: Jedi Survivor, it will want to explore a completely different universe with Avatar. PlatinumGames has already shown that it can make a decent Legend of Korra focused title, and now is the time to let the studio try again. There are many studios that could craft some exciting Avatar focused titles if given the chance. Not only would fans of the franchise finally have some quality games to check out, but it would also be a great way to pull in even more fans to the growing universe. Some games have already come close to capturing the essence, and now is the time that they go all the way. The Avatar franchise is filled with stories just waiting to be told and adventures to be had, the gaming industry just needs to be given the green light. With the release of the three upcoming movies from Avatar Studios, as well as the live-action show there has never been a better time for more Avatar games. The franchise has also appeared in many Nickelodeon crossover games, but there has been no Avatar focused video game since 2014. These games may have come the closest to capturing the feel of being the Avatar, but the games still fell short of being what the franchise deserves.

Almost all of them have been met with mixed reception, and some of them can no longer be purchased.
